The brief for Poppies was open to interpretation, the objective being to design an environment that felt curated and unstructured.
A place that looked as if it had been serving fish and chips for years where clashing wallpaper, orange formica and a chequerboard floor create a bold personality.
The restaurant’s retro vibe continues with authentic 70s light fittings, and kitsch free-standing bars, all encompassed by walls covered in old photography, flying ducks and memorabilia.
